Our one hour Sunday Service is at 10 AM every Sunday.
When you first arrive, one of our greeters will greet you at the front entrance on Bloodworth St with a friendly smile. Be sure to grab a bulletin, then find a seat anywhere on the main level.
If you have kids, ask for Chrissy, Millie, Emma, or Sarah (the Pastor!)
Parking
Parking is generally plentiful and always free here at the church! Open Table UMC is nestled in a residential neighborhood called Oakwood (as well as bordering the nearby Mordecai neighborhood). Feel free to park anywhere (legally!) on these streets. Parking is free, unmarked and unmetered. The church has its own small parking lot that's also available to use with its entrance on Sasser St (pictured below).
Unfortunately, you cannot park at the Salvation Army's parking lot next door.
Accessibility
We offer accessible parking spots in our side parking lot (located on Sasser St). The door by our parking lot (labeled for our tenant, Wake Monarch Academy) is available for use for those that cannot or would prefer not to take any stairs. There is an elevator just inside the door that takes you up to the sanctuary on the main level. Feel free to ask any staff or your fellow Open-Tablers if you need any assistance, and we'll be glad to help!
The Church Side Yard
Our church has a beautiful side yard just to the south-west of the building. It's a great place to catch some nature and connect a little with the Holy Spirit. Enjoy a sit at the picnic table or on the benches. And that beautiful oak tree there that graces us all with much-needed shade? Her name is Sarah (no relation to Pastor Sarah)!
