Open Table UMC is very proud to host the volunteer-run Open Market each Wednesday from 12pm-1pm. The market mission is to provide food-insecure individuals and families with food and spiritual encouragement. Our community is free from stigma and takes a no-questions-asked mentality. In addition to foodstuffs, we provide toiletries and household necessities, as well as clothing. 

Our recent partnership with the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina has opened further opportunities to serve our community during these challenging economic times.

Market Shoppers: Line up at the church parking lot each Wednesday slightly before 12pm: for no-strings attached access to food. We use a randomized number system to decide shopper order, so the order you line up does not affect your access.
